Nicola Yeoman

Nicola's work has a real graphic edge to it. One of the first things I notice is how impeccably well lit it is.

Another thing I find compelling about some of her work is the sparse use of furniture to create quite a distinct atmosphere. Early work of mine has taken quite a strong turn towards the production of installations, specifically interiors.

The very bold use of colour and light are used in some instances to completely transform the piece, something I also find fascinating. I'm finding it hard to come up with ideas at the moment, but I feel that whatever I produce if I was to work with her would probably be more sculptural than anything else.
