Glyphs

I geeked out quite a bit today (that probably won't surprise most people) and indulged my pixel obsession. Andreas wanted a set of 'Glyphs' to signify things like new videos on the site, a 'share' button (for facebook, twitter, etc.) and when a video is 'exclusive'

Yes, the anti-aliasing is best on the 'NEW!' in the black circle, I just liked it more and took it all the way to the end. These are works in progress but I'm quite happy with them for the moment. the square 'NEW!'s are the worst. Zoom in to appreciate my hard work - they're drawn pixel-by-pixel:

I've also had some interest expressed in terms of some suggestions for navigating the multitude of movies on the site, I'm glad that my ideas are being taken into consideration - it really helps the feeling that I'm working in a professional context.

Expect to see this post edited tonight/a new one put up tomorrow, as Sam says he's going to point me in the direction of a few set designers the company is 'talking to' at the moment that he thinks might work well as collaborators toward my FMP.
